CHALKFEST ARTISTS

James Brown

Through various mediums, my intention is to inspire a mass audience by awakening their divine creativity. My passion for the arts has been entrenched within me yearning to distinguish the artistry in all phases of life which has forced me to continuously strive for brilliance.

Jennifer Richardson

While teaching art history at The Art Institute of Tennessee – Nashville, she organized her students to participate in the first Nashville Chalk Festival and has been chalking ever since. She travels to festivals around the country and loves doing demonstrations in schools and with people of all ages. When she isn’t covered in chalk, Jennifer puts her M.A. in art history to use as the Curator of Nashville Parthenon where she creates exhibits and activities that engage visitors.

Artists of all levels are welcome!

Shannon Brooke

I started my chalk adventure in 2015 when I chalked my first 8×8 for the Nashville Chalk Festival and continued to Chalk once a year in Nashville until 2019 when they held their last event.  In 2022 I decided to start traveling for my love of chalk and here I am! Thanks to the support of the GA Chalk Guild, Family and Friends! About me: I am a single mom to 2 boys, 4 cats and 6 dogs. I work fulltime as an Executive Assistant to a CFO of a healthcare company in Franklin, TN and I am a “Cake Mom” and make about 300 cakes a year. I am a busy woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way – I do not know how to sit down and relax. I work hard every day to maintain my crazy life that I love!

Shondell McFall

Just a weirdo who likes making things, my name is Shondell! I wear all the hats, but my biggest and most festive ones are visual art, and music! I’m level 40 in the over world, but I’ve acquired double the XP of art experience. I’ve done everything from put out records, to doing big murals, to act, and so on; HOWEVER, my greatest creations are my two boys Mason and Urza! If you’re still reading this, and want to see what my world looks like, follow me here….
